The history.

Originally constructed in 1894 as one of the four original NYC Fire Patrol Stations, TwoFortyThirty once stood as one of NYC’s vital guardians. In its time as a fire patrol, TwoFortyThirty safeguarded insured buildings and offered refuge to the brave firefighters who were engaged in the aftermath of 9/11. As one of the last building’s of its kind still standing, the rich and preserved history of our venue embodies a piece of New York City’s cultural and architectural legacy.

Despite the formidable challenges posed by the COVID - 19 pandemic, Cerbelli Creative and LG Group, Inc., embarked on the journey to acquire and transform the building in February, 2020. Driven by a vision of synergy between heritage preservation and contemporary innovation, Michael Cerbelli, Founder, CEO / President of Cerbelli Creative, and team established TwoFortyThirty not only as a headquarters for event professionals, but as an ambient and sophisticated venue with a strong identity of its own. 

The design ethos of TwoFortyThirty embodies our commitment to placing creativity and collaboration on the forefront of everything the space provides. Our team meticulously retained the distinctive architectural features and existing graffiti art that gives the space character, while seamlessly interlacing the contemporary elements that makes the venue truly unique entity. 

The first and third floors presently serve as dynamic intimate event spaces, while the second and fourth floors are home to both the Cerbelli Creative team and various esteemed hospitality professionals. The innovative design of TwoFortyThirty coupled with its versatile use establishes our venue as not just an event space, but a haven for ideas to flourish. 

Nestled amidst the bustling streets between Chelsea and Hudson Yards, TwoFortyThirty offers a sophisticated and intimate sanctuary amidst the urban setting — a hidden gem where memorable experiences unfold and individuals are inspired to be creative together.
